Memory Stones — Our History
From a small family workshop in the Caucasus to an international brand, Memory Stones has always stood for craftsmanship, integrity, and remembrance. Our mission is simple: to create memorials of lasting quality that honor life and preserve memory across generations.
1960 — In Makhachkala, Dagestan, Arslan Hajiev established a monument workshop. His craftsmanship laid the foundation for the family tradition.
1994–2004 — A new chapter began with Sona and Ilgar’s union, blending traditions and driving innovation. In 2004, the family opened a modern Marble-Granite Plant, becoming a leader in granite production.
2011 — Expansion into Europe, supplying high-quality granite to Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine, Turkey, and Russia.
2022 — Launch of Memory Stones in the United States with five gallery locations, bringing premium granite memorials and services to a new market.
