Family, Craft, and Memory:
The Story of Memory Stones
The story of MemoryStones is the story of the Hajiev family, who turned their lifelong dedication into an international brand symbolizing quality, respect, and dignity in remembrance.
It all began in 1994, when Ilgar Hajiev started his journey in Ukraine, creating and selling headstones and memorials. Over three decades, he helped more than 100,000 families honor their loved ones, founded a granite and marble factory, and expanded into markets across Eastern Europe.
In 2019, the family moved to the United States to begin a new chapter — Memory Stones. What started as a workshop became a mission-driven company: combining European craftsmanship with American service and accessibility.
A Family Business with a Mission
Today, Memory Stones is led by family members who combine tradition, expertise, and a forward-looking approach.
