Description

Logistics Coordinator ensures efficient movement of goods, coordinates carriers, and monitors documentation to keep every logistics stage precise.

The role exists to minimize costs and delays. The specialist guarantees operational stability, allowing the business to scale without losing quality.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating daily logistics operations and tracking shipments in real-time.
  • Communicating with carriers to secure the best rates and delivery timelines.
  • Preparing and verifying shipping documentation (invoices, bills of lading, customs forms).
  • Resolving transportation issues and keeping stakeholders informed.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business; 1+ years of experience in operational logistics.

Soft Skills

High level of stress tolerance, negotiation skills, ability to make quick decisions, and strong attention to detail.

Success in 90 days

Day 30

Full understanding of internal processes, familiarity with key carriers, and error-free handling of the first 10+ shipments.

Day 60

Established rapport with carrier partners, successful resolution of at least 2 complex delay cases, and proposing one route optimization idea.

Day 90

Full autonomy in decision-making, reaching a 95%+ On-Time Delivery (OTD) rate, and identifying opportunities to reduce logistics costs by 5%.
